Why it’s used

What the evidence says
Human research on exogenous ketone supplements is still limited. Small trials show that these products do transiently raise measurable blood ketones and can affect appetite or exercise metabolism in the short term, but findings on meaningful performance or metabolic benefits are inconsistent and the body of evidence remains thin.
Context
