Why it’s used
Taken by some for general wellness claims, including as an internal deodorizer for body or breath odor, or for antioxidant support.
What the evidence says
Human evidence is limited and mostly old or small in scale. There is no NIH Office of Dietary Supplements fact sheet on chlorophyll, and claims around detoxification, odor control, or antioxidant benefit in humans have not been established through robust clinical trials.
