Why it’s used
Taken by some in the belief that it may inhibit the enzyme aromatase, with interest particularly among people seeking to influence testosterone-to-estrogen conversion.
What the evidence says
Chrysin has poor oral bioavailability in humans, and available human data do not show that oral supplementation meaningfully raises testosterone or blood chrysin levels high enough to produce the effects seen in laboratory studies. There is no NIH ODS fact sheet on chrysin, and the evidence supporting its marketed use in people is thin.
