A protein powder made by pressing oil from hemp seeds and grinding the remaining seed meal into a powder.
Why it’s used
Taken as a plant-based dietary protein source, often by people avoiding dairy or soy proteins.
What the evidence says
General evidence supports adequate dietary protein for supporting muscle mass, but hemp protein specifically has not been the subject of dedicated clinical trials, and its amino acid profile is comparatively lower in lysine than animal proteins. There is no hemp-specific efficacy literature to draw on.
